Inquiry

Every project is planned and executed with care. To begin your project with Heartwood Renovations, please complete our online form to request a quote and proposal. We are pleased to begin working with you!

Site Visit

Upon review of your project opportunity, our team will schedule a site visit with you. Arranging a site visit will provide us with the opportunity to begin the next steps in the process by meeting with you and evaluating the project site in person.

Plans + Drawings

Next, we will visually bring your project to life. Our team will provide work on a series of 3D renderings, schematic drawings and site plans that outline the proposed changes. You can work with us to tweak the plans as needed.

Scope of work/cost estimate

The Heartwood Renovations team works to provide you with a complete scope of work and estimate for the cost of your project, cohesive with the design we're working on preparing.

Presentation of Design & Budget

A formal meeting will be arranged in our showroom to discuss the plans for your project and outline the budget in detail. During this meeting, you will have an opportunity to discuss the budget, plans and design for your proposed project.

Decision

You are welcomed to either accept or decline our proposal once you have taken time to review the estimated budget and plan for your project. Ideally, we look for feedback from where we have started with your home renovation estimate so that we can continue to finalize your dream home.

Sign Contract & Provide Deposit

If you have accepted our proposal, congratulations! We are pleased to begin the next stages of your project. To solidify our agreement, a formal scheduling deposit is to be completed so that we can secure your construction start date.

Permit Application

Heartwood Renovations makes every fine detail a priority, especially when it comes to your project. We work closely with designers and engineers to initiate and manage permit application and process on your behalf to begin your project.

PROJECT MANAGER WALKTHROUGH

Before work begins, your project manager will schedule a walkthrough of your home. This gives our team an opportunity to review the scope of work with you, confirm key project details, and answer any remaining questions about the renovation process.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

Once the planning process is complete, the construction for your home renovation project can begin. Our project manager will have ongoing contact with you, keeping you informed and included on the progress of the construction.

Final Walk through Post-Construction

Our team will schedule a final walkthrough with you at your home once the construction is complete. This will provide you with an opportunity to review the results and discuss any final details with the management team.
